Traffic Safety Committee

The Traffic Safety Committee (TSC) is a non-legislative Advisory Body made up of City staff members and two volunteer community members appointed by staff. The purview of the TSC is the evaluation and implementation of traffic safety measures. The Committee meets quarterly and considers requests from the public and staff regarding traffic safety measures. Requests can be submitted to the TSC by completing the TSC Request Form. The request form is also included in the Traffic Calming Handbook below.

The TSC has developed a Traffic Calming Handbook, which provides residents and community leaders with information about the City's policies on traffic calming. The handbook acts as a model to guide residents towards a better understanding of the available tools and necessary steps to seek basic and comprehensive traffic calming services.
