The City of Greenfield procurement process conforms with the California public contract code in order to ensure full compliance with competitive bidding statutes to protect the public from misuse of public funds, provide all qualified bidders with a fair opportunity to enter the bidding process and to eliminate favoritism, fraud, and corruption in the awarding of public contracts.

Sealed proposals for the City of Greenfield ATP Sidewalk and Bike Route Project has been revised. Bids should be addressed and sent to the City Clerk and bids will be received at City Hall until Thursdays, September 15, 2016, at 3 p.m., and then will be publicly opened and read. Any bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered. The last day for submitting questions regarding this project is September 8, 2016. The proposed project consists of new concrete curb, gutter and sidewalks, curb ramps, asphalt concrete pedestrian paths, street improvements. Also included are and striping and signage improvements for school crosswalks and bike routes.

The Contract Documents may be examined at City Hall. A copy can be obtained through the City Engineer, MNS Engineers Inc. by calling 805-331-3553. Plans and specifications shall be available in digital format at no charge. Hard copies can be provided at printing cost plus $50. If any bidder desires delivery service by Federal Express or UPS, an account number for that bidder must be provided to the Owner. Be advised that all express delivery from the City may take two days, depending on time of day shipped.
